Changing the Diesel Oil Filter

Removing the diesel oil filter

Disconnect the negative of the battery.
Disconnect all the diesel hoses attached to the top of the filter.
Remove the clamp (HEX M10) that holds the filter.
Disconnect the electrical connector at the bottom of the filter and remove the filter.
Screw off the water sensor attached to the bottom of the filter.

Tip: use a bucket to catch the diesel oil inside the filter.

Screw on the water sensor on the new filter.
Connect the electrical connector.
Clamp the filter
Connect all the diesel hoses.

Tip: Keep in mind that now the filter is empty and should be filled later.
Connect the positive of the battery.
Turn the key on position 1, wait 3-4 s, then turn back to position 0.
Repeat the last step 3-4 times.

Info: during these steps, the diesel pump will start filling the filter. Turn on the engine when no noise can be heard from the pump.
